Most of the devices for supplying and venting water and feed in the cattle shed are operated by electricity, which can lead to serious damage when there is a blackout.

For prompt response, a power alert should be installed to inform the farmer of the occurrence of power outage in real time. The self-generator should be prepared with 120% capacity of the required amount of electricity and checked regularly.

"If too much electricity is used, the possibility of blackout increases, so farmers should check their electricity management status and prepare their own generators to prevent damages," said an official from the Rural Development Administration.
