This is the result of a reduction of 980,000 tons of CO2eq, which is the reduction of 19.6% compared to the baseline emissions (2007 ~ 2009 average emissions) of 5.02 million tons of CO2eq.

The reduction rate of 19.6% is 1.3% increase from the previous year's 18.3%, and is the result of the institutions' efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions last year by improving facilities.

In addition, the emissions of 4.21 million tons CO2eq in 2018 are reduced by 11%, or 520,000 tons, compared with 4.73 million tons of CO2eq in 2011, when the public sector first introduced the greenhouse gas target management system.

The greenhouse gas target management system in the public sector was introduced in 2011, in which the Ministry of Environment proposes standard emissions for 774 organizations of seven types, including the central government and local governments and checks performance based on annual reduction targets.
