[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The Korea Forest Service announced that it will organize an on-site control team for the seasonal control system to reduce the emission of ultrafine dust from farming and mountain villages in accordance with the fine dust seasonal management system (December to March). 

The Korea Forest Service will set up a crackdown team by its agencies, including the city, county and district, and crack down on illegal incineration activities in forests and adjacent areas. It also plans to reduce fine dust generation by pre-removing and cracking down on flammable materials. 

To that end, the government has formed a team to prevent incineration in the forest area of fine dust from December this year, and plans to crack down on illegal activities once a week during the high concentration fine dust and the seasonal management system. 

“In order to reduce fine dust in the agricultural and rural areas, we will crack down on illegal incineration through a crackdown team until next spring,” said Kim Jae-hyun, Minister of the Korea Forest Service.
