The consultative body was formed in May by 11 organizations related to R&D of fine dust to find ways to solve fundamental problems of fine dust based on science and technology.

This forum aims to gather scientists from the fine dust field in Korea to find a challenging and diverse scientific countermeasure to solve the fine dust problem.

It will be a two-day event to share the status of major fine dust research and discuss various innovative scientific alternatives for solving fine dust problems with other experts.

In addition, during the pre-registration period, it is going to examine issues regarding fine dust by region through meetings with experts in R&D by area and look for customized solutions based on scientific technology.

“As the fine dust problem seriously affects the quality of life of the people, various alternatives with high expertise are needed to contribute to solving the fine dust problem,” said an official from the Ministry of Science and ICT. “We will do the best to solve various problems of fine dust scientifically with other ministries. "
