[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The National Fine Dust Information Center of the Ministry of Environment opening ceremony on December 19. 

The National Fine Dust Information Center was established as the “Special Act on the Reduction and Management of Fine Dust” was revised in March of this year. 

The center will play a role in establishing a comprehensive information system related to fine dust, including analysis of causes and policy impacts of fine dust, collection and analysis of emission-related information, and systematic management. 

The center has two teams in charge of assisting fine dust-related policy-making process and collecting data on the amount of emissions. 

The center will systematically collect fine dust-related information and will be tasked with scientifically calculating, verifying and managing emissions by emission sources.
