[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The National Institute of Environmental Research under the Ministry of Environment announced that from December 27, China's air quality forecast information will be used for domestic forecasts to reinforce fine dust response.

The National Institute of Environmental Research expects that the accuracy of forecasting high concentration of fine dust in Korea will be improved through sharing the air quality forecast data of China in real time.

China will provide the air quality index and concentration data for 11 provinces and cities for the next three days to the National Institute of Environmental Research once a day at 18:00 p.m.

The National Institute of Environmental Research will use China's forecasting information to comprehensively analyze the possibility of fine dust inflow and high concentration and reflect it in the forecast results.
