In addition, fire safety inspections were carried out for multi-use facilities such as passenger ship terminals and dangerous goods loading and unloading facilities.

According to the results of the large-scale diagnosis, problems were found out in 915 places (about 16%) out of the 5,870 facilities. Of these, 897 places were given corrective instructions such as on-site measures, maintenance and reinforcement. In addition, precise diagnosis will be carried out for 18 sites because cracks were found. The results of inspection by facilities will be made public on the website of the administrative agency such as local regional offices of oceans and fisheries.
