In the case of Taebaek Mountain, the entire deck installed in the 620m section belonged to the conservation district.
Shin Chang-hyun of the ruling Democratic Party of Korea said, "Establishing decks for the convenience of hikers to nature conservation districts is a way to spoil national parks with taxes. Deck installation should be minimized according to the purpose of the designation of nature conservation district.”
