[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The Sudokwon Landfill Site Management Corporation (SL Corporation) has decided to bring in all household waste on September 26 during the Chuseok holiday this year.

The measure will take place for five days from September 22 to 26, for the purpose of removing waste from the metropolitan area and ensuring smooth disposal.

The time will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will be expanded to include not only household waste but also construction waste.

“By treating household waste during the Chuseok holiday season, the problem of waste accumulation in the Seoul metropolitan area will be resolved,” said an official from the SL Corporation. “This measure is to maintain a pleasant environment for citizens.”
