[The Hwankyung Ilbo] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Environment held the launching ceremony of the first National Planning Consultative Council.

The council will be operated from the stage of preparing guidelines for the comprehensive national territory plan and the national environmental plan to the finalization of the plan based on the "Joint Communiqué on the Integrated Management of the National Land and Environmental Conservation Plan" enacted in March.

In addition, it plans to consider revise the local government plan guidelines to strengthen links between national territory plans and environmental conservation plans established by local governments.

The two ministries said, “We need close cooperation from the planning stage to achieve the common goal of sustainable management of the land and environment. We will create an eco-friendly country by sharing policy solutions and finding solutions.”
