[The Hwankyung Ilbo] Agricultural weather, insect pest infestation, and soil analysis information are linked to electronic maps of agricultural land across the country and are open to all citizens.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Rural Development Administration announced on 15th that they selected the agricultural activity support information based on the 'farm map' as the national key data and opened it to the public through the public data portal.

The information to be disclosed is the daily and hourly farm weather information, the pest occurrence information, the soil analysis information, etc. based on the ‘farm map’.

The farm map is the information that is provided to public institutions and research institutes by establishing electronic maps of area and property information of about 13 million agricultural lands nationwide for the promotion of information-based scientific agriculture.
