Professor Seo Gyeong-deok revealed the video series: ‘Those who protect Dokdo’

[The Hwankyung Ilbo] Love Dokdo and the Coalition for Dokdo protector Seo Gyeong-deok who is also a professor from Sungshin Women's University, hosted ‘those who follow the Dokdo’ video series'  first video on the 9th of July.

With the help of Dokdo Foundation, this six minute video was made and revealed via the YouTube channel ‘strong tv’, which shows what and how Dokdo is dealing with the duty of the management and Aads to navigation.

Professor Seo who appears in the video said, "There are many people who save Dokdo in various ways though they were not told so we wanted to introduce the roles by this opportunity."

He also added, “First of all, by the  Korean version of the video which will present more about Dokdo as an opportunity to go, it will gradually be made in various languages, such as English and Japanese, which will also be promoted to the world”. 

The second video of the series will be about the guards of Dokdo and the third will be about the 119 District headquarters office and its roles.

In particular, a video about Dokdo's sunrise and sunset, which tourists have a hard time to find and Dokdo's ‘natural scenery’ will be made public for the series soon.

Love Dokdo and Coalition for Dokdo's executive director Jo Jong-cheol said, “This time, we will try to introduce Dokdo through cultural content by each and every new videos.” 

In the meantime, Seo Gyeong-deok recently asked to delete the mark of Dokdo from the Tokyo Olympic website and is constantly sending emails to Tokyo IOC and the organising committee of the Tokyo Olympics.
